November and Thanksgiving

November was great.  Love this cute picture of Ellie and Jack.  Loved skyping with our friends a few weeks back.  Technology rocks to keep us in contact with people we love that are far away from us physically. Time out for Women Portland 2013, great bunch of ladies.  I also randomly saw Eric's aunt there who lives in California.  I love to be inspired and uplifted!    The kids started playing with our marble work toys.  I got them at a yardsale a long time ago, but it wasn't until recently they discovered how awesome making marble towers can be.  We went on a date night to the Sherlock Holmes exhibit at OMSI.  It was fun.  I love museums, I love reading all the plaques and learning tons about random things.  I love the new BBC version of Sherlock Holmes.  The museum made me want to actually start reading the books.  I know, shocker in my family that I haven't read them.   ...

Astoria

We had the opportunity to go on an overnighter in Astoria at the end of October.  Our kids went to our friends the Green's house in Vancouver.  (They were awesome enough to even take Ellie!) The person at the desk said those were the best ones, and they were!  They rode great! I love water.  It was extra gorgeous right at sunset. Selfies are the best! These waffles were the MOST amazing waffles I have ever eaten in my life.  I am not exaggerating. I probably ate 9 of those little circles.  They were the perfect texture and flavor.  I am wanting to go back to eat the...

Halloween 2013

We had so much fun this Halloween.  It started with a neighborhood Halloween party that our cute neighbor girls had been planning for weeks.  This is donut eating on a string from a fishing pole out their window. They had amazing and delicious halloween treats. They painted pumpkins. Mummy making with toilet paper.  This is Sean all wrapped up. Our purple little mermaid.  We went to the children's museum halloween week, and unfortunately missed the glow in the dark goo days, but still had fun playing in the water, and finding pumpkins all over.  Our friends the Stokers and Glemsers came with us.  This was at the Dora exhibit.  Halloween morning we had orange milk (oranges blended up in milk) poured over our oatmeal and chocolate chips to make it black.  Avey had Joyschool Halloween morning and had fun in her costume for a parade.  Darth Vader (Jack) came to the parade part in the beginning too.  Then...
