July!

The rest of July! We have been playing a lot games this summer- Disney headbands has been one of them.  Our friends invited us to their parents pool, it's one of our favorites.  :)  Heated, fun toys and good friends always a great time!  OMSI (our science museum) always helps me feel like my kids are getting some arts and crafts into their life, such as arm painting one day we were there.  A flower  Lightning  "Mom take a picture of me in this sparkly hat- I look so good. "  Laying out in Oregon to dry off- our redheaded family can do that here!!!  Ellie learned how to climb up slides on her own. More OMSI family fun.  We also went on an AWESOME camping trip to Silver Falls.  So gorgeous, easy to bike and hike trails, waterfalls, so many great memories.  Waterfall #1 on our Friday morning hike.  Daddy and Ellie trying to drink from the water...
4th of July!   We loved watching Liberty Kids for the weeks leading up to it and and having one of our summer classes about the 4th of July and why we celebrate it and what symbols there are associated with it and how awesome freedom in America is.  The kids really were understanding it this year, and kept talking about George Washington and liberty and the symbols on the flag.   We really do live in an AMAZING country, and we are so blessed to be here!!! Eric helped our ward serve the breakfast for the neighborhood 4th of July celebration  Cute kids!!!  Getting ready for the parade.  I still don't know what Chuck E Cheese has to do with the 4th of July,  but the kids thought it was fun.  And we're off!  (It's always a little slow at first...)
