Belize And a week later I get around to the second post.  Hello life!  Well, better later than expected than never. We were debating what to do in Belize, we really wanted to see some Mayan ruins, but we also heard great things about a cave tubing tour, so naturally we wanted to do both, and were trying to see if we could.  The morning of we showed up at the place to do the cave tubing and they said there was no way to do both and make it back to the ship in time, so we decided to just do cave tubing at that point. Their people have to be buried in boxes above the ground because of the water level being so high. It's strange it has been a week since we got home from our cruise. Last week we got home from a greatly needed and greatly appreciated vacation. While we feel a little awkward telling the world that we went on a cruise, we will say that we've worked hard to earn it and had it not been for our motivation to give us a reward for obtaining an insurmountable goal we probably wouldn't have otherwise done it. That being said, here these next few posts will be about our vacation/cruise to the Caribbean. We left the Port of Miami on Saturday, sea on Sunday, Cozumel on Monday, Belize on Tuesday, Roatan island (off the Honduras coast) Wednesday, Grand Cayman Thursday, sea on Friday, Miami and home on Saturday. We met some great people, ignored quite a few drunk people, and all in all tried to appreciate everyone on board as equals with us in trying in their own way to get away from the world and relax from the woes of modern life.
