And there's February!

While Eric's family was here we went downtown to eat at the foodcarts, see Powell's bookstore and Voodoo donuts. The kids then fell asleep, and I got to be with them for a few minutes in the back by myself.  Ellie is asleep next to me too by the way. We also went to Pump It Up Junior with them.  It was super fun! They had a Heidi sized door Lots of slides all of us could go on And colorful places to pose.   And of course the grandparents spoiled the kids and let them pick out a special toy at the end.  Jack chose a "golden" dolphin (aka yellow one) because everything is golden these days, golden ninjas golden sonics, etc.  For Valentines day it was on a music teaching day, so we made these the day before and gave them out.  I let them choose on my pinterest board which valentine they wanted to give out and both chose something with glow sticks!  Jack's was a picture of a lego star wars guy saying May The Forc...

Ellie's Blessing

Ellie's blessing was amazing.  She's such a fantastic little girl, and we are so blessed she's in our family.  Eric's parents and sister Heidi came out for a visit for the blessing, and it was great to have them and our good friends the Greens also here for the blessing.       This is the dress I was blessed in, as well as Avey.  My aunt Julie made the dress for me.  The blanket was crocheted by Eric's grandma Jo.  Jack and Avey were also blessed in it.  Matching flowers my mom made.

What we have been up to in January...

Getting in our sleep whenever we can.  Watching this ADORABLE little girl, and trying to help her get some vitamin D.  Playing with daddy. Going to a PSU basketball game with our friends Lisa and Aiden.   This was really the best part of the game, playing with this.  And eating the popcorn.  Enjoying lots of sunshine outside although it's our rainy season.  Loving this cute girl.  Holding and snuggling this other sweet girl.  And celebrating another birthday!  Going to Ross for a wall clock and new sweater.  Then going to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner.  Yummo.  Can't get enough of this girl. And eating up a delicious lava cake with ice cream and a piece of macaroni on a toothpick for my candle.  I then went to my book club where we talked about the Count of Monte Cristo and Eric surprised me with flowers and a cheesecake he made.  It...

Ellie the little model

These pictures were taken by our good friend Justine when Ellie was 8 days old.  Ellie was so cute and good, she just wanted to stay awake the whole time, which made it a little tricky to get some shots, but Justine still did a fabulous job.  My mom and sister came, and the beautiful clothes are courtesy of a shopping trip right before the shoot with my mom.  Thanks mom!  Here's our little christmas bundle of joy.   She's pushing her head up at one week old.  Silly Ellie! Thanks Justine!  It's so great to have these beautiful pictures of Ellie.
