Our high school put on the play Peter Pan the day before we left for Utah. It was really fun, and the kids LOVED it!
We went to Utah for Thanksgiving
Utah is always exciting with the possibility of SNOW! And we got a light dusting of snow this day!

Sunday dinner at my mom's house, Eric, Brandon and Mandi
Mom, Amy, and Becca. Love them!
My parents were kind enough to take our kids swimming one day so we could go up to Provo to visit with my grandpa Barrus one on one. He's so great, and especially in the last few years he took such great care of my grandma as she was suffering from Dementia.
We had Thanksgiving with Eric's family at his brother's house in Hyrum. It was so fun and delicious- and ended at a hotel in Hyrum swimming with everyone in the pool.
This was my favorite game we played- it was ask the grandkids questions about grandma and grandpa, and if they know the answer they get a piece of candy. Then for the siblings we had to act out, draw or lip sync events from their lives, it was hilarious!
We made some oreo thanksgiving turkeys at grandma's later with Wendy because we ran out of time up in Hyrum.
Lots of driving, but that's ok. We are all good car travelers in this family.

Eric had a cousin come home from her mission, and this was at her open house after.

We then were blessed to already be in Utah for my grandma's funeral. She has had dementia for the last few years, and I know she is happy to have her mind back and be with her family and be working and serving others again! The funeral was beautiful and highlighted how she was such an incredibly patient and loving mom and grandma and friend and I have so much I am learning from her still. I love you Grandma Barrus!
