It's always fun being type A and having life be up in the air before a new baby arrives. You have to not have too many things planned so if you do have the baby you can drop it at a moments notice. But you have to have things to do so you don't end up sitting around the house all day in rainy weather for three weeks. So on December 21st we went to the children's museum. They have a cool Chagall exhibit where you can paint your own pictures. (Mainly the reason why I got the children's museum pass so the kids could be exposed to art activities that I didn't have to clean up at the end. :)
Here's Jack's painting
Eric and I even painted some cool pictures.
One last picture of me being pregnant with Ellie before she came out.
Avey painting.
They had a water slide, splash structures and other pool toys at this pool which made it super fun.
That night Eric went shopping so we could make easy chicken cordon bleu for dinner which was AMAZING! And then we acted out the nativity from the Bible with costumes, read How the Grinch Stole Christmas, put cookies out for santa and opened one present and their pajamas from grandma Sharon, which they are showing off by the tree. Then they went to sleep.
Since this baby didn't seem like it was coming until after christmas, I made a stuffed cream cheese french toast bake and put it in the fridge to be baked in the morning, and Eric got all the rest of christmas wrapped and ready and we watched Harry Potter 7-2. We went to bed at 11 and got woken at 1 by our cute little Ellie starting to come into the world.
