Easter in Utah

My brother is headed on a mission to Indonesia in May and so we decided to take a road trip to see him before he left over Easter weekend.   We traveled in our NEW van, and it was AWESOME!  I loved all the space to stretch out and put things and still not feel cramped.  So blessed!  We played "prince and princesses" with grandma and uncle Jonathan right after getting there.  We ate a yummy dinner, Avey and Caleb crack me up when they are together.  The other boys.   These cute cousins got to meet for the first time, Katelyn is so cute!  Mandi had gotten a groupon for passes to Jungle Jim's Playland, so we went there Friday morning.  Jack and Avey were in heaven!  Ellie got to spend some quality grandpa time there while I made sure my other kids were safe.  Bumper cars are always great.  Jack went on this crazy fast rollercoaster 10 times in a row.  It also go...

Friend visit and March!

We had some friends come in from Utah and it was so fun to play with them! That's THREE kids on our amazing sit and stand, best stroller ever! Of course, what's a visit to our city without voodoo donuts! Checking out the selection Eating them on the park bench outside Holding hands walking to the park after our trip downtown. Eric took the day off so we could hit up the children's museum and the beach with our friends.  The new storytime exhibit is so fun! Cute little friends. Anna brought her camera and took some family pictures.  I love them! Don't we look like a real Oregonian family here? The weather was beautiful for an Oregon beach in March, I wanted to stay in it all day! My cute little angel baby. This truly is one of my favorite things to do. Hanging out with this guy. Then of course we went to Tillamook for some cheese samples and ice-cream! Then our friends had to go back ...

And there's February!

While Eric's family was here we went downtown to eat at the foodcarts, see Powell's bookstore and Voodoo donuts. The kids then fell asleep, and I got to be with them for a few minutes in the back by myself.  Ellie is asleep next to me too by the way. We also went to Pump It Up Junior with them.  It was super fun! They had a Heidi sized door Lots of slides all of us could go on And colorful places to pose.   And of course the grandparents spoiled the kids and let them pick out a special toy at the end.  Jack chose a "golden" dolphin (aka yellow one) because everything is golden these days, golden ninjas golden sonics, etc.  For Valentines day it was on a music teaching day, so we made these the day before and gave them out.  I let them choose on my pinterest board which valentine they wanted to give out and both chose something with glow sticks!  Jack's was a picture of a lego star wars guy saying May The Forc...
