Pictures Pictures!

Our good friend Anna generously offered to take our family pictures for us this fall. Considering we got our last family pictures done a month after Avey was born, we were a little overdue for some good official family pictures. We took them at the Conservation Garden Park in West Jordan. I think they turned out darling! I especially love this one of our family because it captures our personalities so well. You're the best Anna! Thanks again!

September

Yay for downloading pictures from my phone to the computer! Here is what we have been up to the past few weeks and more. First off, Avey's hair is finally growing long enough and we were inspired by our friend Ev's hair that we decided to put them in mini- pigtails! It lights up my day anytime I see her in them. Jack climbed into bed when grandma had left for a minute, and this is what happened. We went to $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point in August and visited the Dinosaur museum. Jack and Avey both LOVED it, and it was super cute to see Jack running down the ramps holding Avey's hand making sure she didn't miss any thing as well. Dinosaur leg bone. I know that's super specific. Then we went and got free ice cream cones at the Thanksgiving Point deli. They were free, and a much better size for them than their 50 cent cones, hooray! We also went on another date to the free rooftop concert series in Provo the first Friday of August. It was Imagine Dragons this...

Just some thoughts

picture via theredheadedhostess.com I have been studying my scriptures lately with this new scripture journal idea . (Found via Anna on Pinterest.) And. it. is. the. best. idea. ever. seriously. I got my little composition notebook, and glued some fabric onto the outside (super crafty for me) and then went to work writing out the topics and page numbers. I am addicted to my scripture study now, and I want to study for longer than my 30 minutes I have planned out everyday. And sometimes I do take longer. (And like today I realized I needed to eat lunch and so was going to get it but got too involved in my scripture study that when I remembered I didn't want to stop my studying to get it, but waited until I was done studying. That's how awesome studying scriptures is for me right now.) I love as I read my scriptures to think what doctrine or principle could I put this thought or this scr...

Pictures from Eric's phone

My cute Aunt Becky got married at the beginning of August. I wish I got more pictures, but chasing two little kiddos doesn't always equate to many or good pictures. Here are a few. Becky's hair and dress from the back. It was also my grandpa Killian's 80th birthday, so we had fun creating a banner and a video for him during the reception. And all of us with Becky and her new husband Frank. I wish I had taken a picture of the cake or centerpieces, they were beautiful! It was fun to see you while you were here Becky! Good luck! Jack and Avey's cousin Will had a birthday party a few weeks ago. We went and had so much fun with all the jungle themed items. These cupcakes were amazing, and decorated with chocolate, not frosting! Cami did admit to many many hours of work, but pulled it off beautifully. Will blowing out his candles. Jack and Avery digging into the goods. These were so rich, you couldn't even really finish one by yourself...
