Oak Hills Art Night was amazing! For weeks before they covered the walls of the entry way with white plastic and had all the elementary kids decorate with dots. It looked fantastic!
They had tons of art for all the kids to do that they had done throughout the year.
And this was the infinity room. Shhh, don't tell anyone we took a picture.
We went to the zoo with our friend Meredith and her two cute kids. Ellie is my little animal lover, but Avey enjoyed it as well.
The monkeys behind them in these cages were the most active I had ever seen at a zoo! Avey said "They really put on a show for us". Yes they did.
We even rode the train.
And we went strawberry picking. There isn't anything better than Oregon strawberries fresh from the plant, heaven!!!

Then I got on a plane and headed down to San Diego for my music conference. It was AMAZING! This picture is with the founder of LPM- Shelle Solberg and my other friend Kara.

While I was partying in Cali, Eric was driving with the three kids down to meet me by himself. Superman!!! He stopped to play and say hi to some friends in San Francisco, the Clarks!
They also made it to the Jelly Belly Factory!
Then we made it to our good friends' the Harmons!!!! Glenn made us art pancakes for breakfast. Do you see my music guy in the first pancake?

Avey and Alli were best buds from the minute they were introduced. They are one month apart in age and were so darling together.
Love these guys!! So many fun, incredible conversations in the short time we had. I think Kristen and I have the same kind of soul. :)
Sunday morning we went to this cemetery that overlooks the city. A cemetery filled with artwork and beautiful sculptures and amazing things! I could have spent all day there, and it was a great Sunday activity.
This was the Christus that was saved by the WWII monuments men and hidden for 6 years so the Nazi's couldn't find it and destroy it.
This is the builder's creed who created this cemetery. It's beautiful, and if you can get closer to read it, it's well worth it.

This is the wall at the church we went to that Eric's dad helped build in Burbank when he was younger.
We went to a science museum by their house on Monday while Eric had to work for a few hours.
I don't remember what these boats had to do with learning in the museum, but the kids had fun climbing in them.
Glenn works at Dreamworks as a storyboard artist, and so he invited us to see his campus and have lunch with him! The food was amazing and really healthy. And the campus was just beautiful.
